Sensibly equivalent to:
6J6 CV858

Extras ▼

The CV2010 is the CV858 with tapes welded to the pins for soldering into circuit.
The commercial original valve is the 6J6.
This miniature double triode was used for VHF signal amplification and was made in standard and special quality versions.
The KB/DC identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the DC identifies the maker as Mullard Radio Valve Co., Whyteleafe.
The construction has a common flattened tube cathode, with the single sided control grids either side and each anode is an open rectangle.
The base with welded tapes on the pins. The central spigot like cylinder is also brought out to a side tape.
Here the open rectangular anode of one triode is seen. The copper support of the control grid clearly shows that the grid is single sided. The second half of the winding has been sliced off.
A closer view of the grids.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins is 46 mm tall.
