The 6K5G is an indirectly heated general purpose amplifier triode on an International Octal base.
The triode itself occupies a small space in the centre of the anode. The rest of the width is present as a heat sink.
The Philco brand and IO base.

The classic envelope is 39 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 100 mm tall.
