The VX3519 is the prototype for the CV4081. This triode was built for reliability and has flying leads for direct soldering into radio equipment. The main applications were probably military. Vibration and shock resistance were significant considerations.
The GEC label. The GEC brand was used on M-OV valves for professional applications.

The thin glass tube envelope is  mm in diameter and, excluding the footless base pins, is  mm tall.
