The M8081 is the special quality version of the ECC91. The design purpose was as a VHF oscillator or power amplifier of one Watt output.
This exhibit carries the later stylised Mullard logo and the CV Type designation CV4031 as well.
The central cathode with single sided grids either side to form the double triode.
The open box anodes and a clear view of the close wound grids.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 45 mm tall.
