The 1G6GT is a battery double triode for audio output. The two sections are rated for push-pull use and the input voltage between the grids is quoted as 48.0 Volts peak to peak. The anode load is given as 12,000 Ohms between the anodes and the input impedance is 2,500 Ohms. In this configuration the output power of 0.35W is achieved for a distortion of 4%.
The twin triode sections. The Type designation is present etched onto the glass as well as being printed onto the Bakelite base cap.
Face view of one triode. The ribs in the anode are to provide rigidity to the very thin metal.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 60 mm tall.
