The WWII EF50 in a plain aluminium screening can and carrying the UK government broad arrow. The old stores code of 10E/92 here carries the suffix b.This amplifier pentode was a general workhorse. It was extensively used in radio and radar during WWII. The pins are equi-spaced around the circumference of the pin circle and this a locating key on the spigot was required for correct insertion into the valve-base.
