The KT63 was originally the N63, and was released in the IO based form in 1937. It is an audio output beam tetrode valve. This exhibit is of American manufacture and also carries the Type designation of 6F6G on the glass.
The anode load should be 7,000 Ω.

Looking up from the base: copper supports for the control grid, round cathode tube and witr grids.
The classic envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 103 mm tall.
