The CV2932 is closely related to the commercial TD3-12 and is a disc seal planar triode for operation up to 1.3 GHz as a pulse modulated oscillator.The absence of any anode heat-sink points to a low average power in spite of high pulse currents.Through the envelope one can see the metal mesh grid that completely separates the valve into two sections. The anode rod is connected to the top cap.The planar envelope is 26 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 52 mm tall.References: Data-sheet. |
