The design of this VHF transmitting double beam tetrode follows the American pattern of two separate valves within the envelope.
The later developments from Mullard were of the newer type with a common cathode. See the QQV03-20.
The wide glass tube envelope is 48 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 94 mm tall.
References: 1951 Datasheet, 4065 & 1040. Type QQV04-20 was first introduced in 1951.
