The EN32 thyratron is of tetrode construction. The control ratio is high at 270 and the conducting voltage drop is low at 10 Volts. A pulse repetition rate is not quoted. This device was designed for industrial control applications.
The 1949 Mullard data book only lists the EN31 and so this design is from the 1950's. However, the use of the later stylised logo suggests a 1960s production.
The anode lead is insulated with a ceramic tube.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 66 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type EN32 was first introduced in 1958. See also 1958 adverts.
