The CV2253 (commercially the EN32) thyratron is of tetrode construction. The control ratio is high at 270 and the conducting voltage drop is low at 10 Volts. A pulse repetition rate is not quoted. This device was designed for industrial control applications.
The /E identifies the maker as Thorn-AEI, Brimsdown.

The end view of the anode. All internal structure is hidden.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 63 mm tall.
