The 6SF5 is a high gain triode designed for RC coupled voltage amplifier use in audio equipment, especially vehicle battery powered sets.
The 6F5 has the control grid taken to the top cap.
The 12SF5 is the same valve but equipped with a 12.6 Volt heater.
The reverse of the metal tube envelope carries the RCA logo.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 50 mm tall.
