The RCA 6SN7GT double triode valve is electrically equal to a pair of the 6J5 medium μ triodes in a single envelope.
The construction uses a glass pinch and the two separate electrode structures are visible through the envelope.
The octagon outline for the etched identification panel is an indication of RCA.
The twin triode sections - spaced but without an internal screen.
The construction with the grid winding extending outside of the anode.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 66 mm tall.
