This VT-1 was made for the US Navy where it was known as the 203B.

The anode plates are corrugated and the main support is shaped to provide rigidity. With this extra strength the fragile glass rod support was no longer required.

The wide glass tube envelope is 32 mm in diameter, and including the base pins is 105 mm tall.
