The Cossor S130P voltage stabiliser has a maximum current output of 75 mA and is identical to the CV45. The Cossor S130 has the same current rating but is designed for an output voltage of 180 Volts.
The is above the normal range and was, therefore, designed to supply a stabilised voltage directly rather than act as a reference in a stabiliser power supply with a series pass valve.
The striking voltage was 135 volts. Pin 4 is a priming anode to strike the discharge.
The outer cylinder is supported by side rods anchored in the pinch.
The cylinder is closed at the top.
The balloon envelope is 50 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 101 mm tall.
