The CV1347 was originally known as the ARTH2. The AR Stands for Army Receiving.
The Mullard ECH35 Triode Hexode was the commercial equivalent and prototype.
The reverse is plain screening paint.
The classic envelope is 35 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 96 mm tall.
