RCA The Hammersmith Collection Other VR54 exhibits

The VR54 is a signal double diode. Our exhibit is also marked with the old stores code of 10E/11400. The VR54 is equivalent to the commercial EB34.

The glass envelope has been screened with a red metallic paint..

The RCA trade name of Radiotron ans Made in USA appear on the base.

The base also carries the designation 1638.

The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 62 mm tall.
