The L63 is an octal based general purpose amplifier triode. It is a low impedance device and often used at audio frequencies.
The exhibit carries no explicit branding but the shape and design of the lettering match the M-OV style a similar presentation can be seen on L63.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 85 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type L63 was first introduced in 1938. See also 1938 adverts.
